Long time no see~!  It really has been a while, huh? But despite my extended leave, I saw a couple days ago (in complete and utter surprise, I might add) that Simply Devine has remained quite active despiteless. So before I start with my good news, I wanted to thank you all immensely for everything, even just checking out a post or two. It means the world to me and honestly I’m still in shock that I’ve come this far!

Coming back to Simply Devine after all this time is so strange yet heartwarming. I planned on returning at the start of summer break but after looking through it, it seems better to make a new beginning this time around. I think it’s quite fitting~ That’s why I created a new anime blog, “Moe Shoujo” (moeshoujo.wordpress.com) to kickstart over the next few months. If you’d like, I would love for you to check it out!  Thank you again everyone!

All good things must come to an end…

But hopefully this isn’t the end. Think of it as a vacation or break until I can recollect myself and give you guys what you deserve. Lately I haven’t been me. I haven’t been posting stuff or updating or doing anything on this blog.  Life is hard. And right now, I can’t handle everything that’s going on.

So I’m not coming back to this blog. Not for a while.

It may only be a matter of weeks. Maybe months. I’m not sure yet. All I know is I’m the girl I was when I started Simply Devine.

I thought being into anime would be a little secret of mine, and it would be nothing. Suddenly though, it’s like I was juggling two different lives. The one I show to the world, and then the side of me that no one should see. I shouldn’t be ashamed of watching anime, but I am. So I tried to keep the two different sides of me as far away as possible. However, it was stressful and I was only human. I wanted to share my love for anime and talk to people about it, things that I couldn’t tell my friends or closest family.

That’s one of the main reasons I started this blog.

But now I’m in highschool and I’m more afraid than ever of having my secret spilled. I’m not the kind of girl anyone would expect to be into this stuff. I have a family that’s missing me because I spend too much time by myself, living this secret. I have a boyfriend who I love but can’t bear to tell. My friends range from the Homecoming Queen herself to the jocks, brains and goths.

And I can’t imagine what would happen if any one of them found out about my secret.

It feels weird for me to think about it myself. It’s one of those things that I shouldn’t love or like, but truly do. It’s me but it’s also not. And I don’t think I can keep living those two sides apart from each other. I have to choose or they’ll clash. Something I can’t even bear to think about. So even though I love it I think I have to learn to grow up and forget about it.

It’s my own decision and I have to stick to it. Slowly I’m starting to distance myself from my anime-loving-self, and this blog is a part of it. So I have to say adieu.

Think me selfish or shallow but I think I’m making the right choice. I don’t want to grow up but I can’t keep living in the past.

I hope you guys understand. I’m not the same girl I was a couple months ago. Though I love the whole aspect of anime with all my heart, everyone else keeps ripping that love out of me, telling me it’s wrong. So I have to patch up the wounds and move on. That’s how life works.

Perhaps I’m just not mature enough to raise my head proudly and tell the world I love anime. Perhaps I’m only restraining myself because of what society judges us anime-lovers. Perhaps when I’m out of school and on my own and I can follow what I love. But for now, this has to be goodbye.

To everyone that has followed me, commented, or talked me through all the hardships of this past year, I’m eternally grateful. You guys are the best.

Heh, Usui, you sneaky devil.

Well, cute shipping aside, there’s something else I wanted to focus on in this post : this blog’s name, Simply Devine.

Yup, devine with two “e’s”. And it’s that way on purpose(: So sorry if you’re one of those people that can’t stand a spelling mistake, but if it makes you feel better, it truly isn’t a mistake. That’s what makes me love my blog~ Well, not just the name, but because of the originiality I put in it.

Want to know the story? No? Hehe, well too bad, I’m telling you anyway~

My sister, who’s only a first grader (but way smarter than she should be), helped me come up with the name. Instead of reading her bedtime stories (cuz the little genius is still a little kid at heart), I tell her everything that’s going on in my life. And it just so happens my blog came up one night.

Back then though, I never really gave much thought or effort into my posts or blog in general. That was also when this was called “The Snow Child’s Blog”. But when I told her the name, she didn’t think that fitted me at all. Thinking back on it, I have to agree with her.

So, teasingly, I said, “What, do you think it she be simpler?”

And, well, somehow she thought of “simply divine” and insisted I change it. As I was typing it in, she argued that divine she be spelled “devine” because that was how it sounded (gotta love kids, right?)

Not willing to argue with a 7-year-old, I put it in and the name has stuck ever since~ So in truth, the name belongs to her, and I like it as it is. It gives the blog character in my opinion and quite obviously holds meaning to me. So I won’t change everything just because it’s spelled wrong or because someone gives me grief about my grammar.

Alright, that’s enough sappy stories for now, wouldn’t you agree?

Looks like another unexpected break from me this past June, huh? Sorry guys but for once I can’t say “well I’m back now!”

If you saw my schedule for the blog for this summer, I listed a ton of stuff I wanted to cover, thinking since it’s my vacation time I could get so much more done. Well… summer really does mean vacation. And I thought life would have quieted down for now but it looks like it’s had the opposite effect. I’m traveling the world as we speak, believe it or not, on a rather last-minute trip. So… surprise! This summer truly is my vacation time. Unfortunately, that also means I have to take a break from Simply Devine.

I’ve been out of blogging for over a month now, meaning my poor site hasn’t been updated in a while. Meaning no new posts, headers, or any of that. Ah, I feel so bad! I’m such a little perfectionist~ I don’t like leaving loose ties before I start anything new.

I’m away from my main computer right now, which is why it’s hard to make a real post right now. That and we’re “borrowing” our neighbor’s sketchy wifi. So it’s hard to do much of anything. I have like 5 posts I can’t finish right now because I can’t download any episodes or get information or any of that. So I’m stuck with this.

But, despite all that, I wanted to update you guys! The one thing I was most depressed about missing was the new anime coming out (and not being able to watch some outcoming shows~ I’m using all my freetime to catch up on Kaichou wa Maid-Sama and Yumeiro Pattisiere hehe).  There are only two new shows I’ve been able to see: Seitokai Yakuindomo and Kuroshitsuji Season 2. Actually make that three: I’m currently starting to watch Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi while I write this (Fuyu-oneechan made her latest first impression on it so you know I have to watch it). All in all, I’m behind on a lot. Well not as much as I thought it would be. But still.

Since this is my summer post, I think I might put in my Summer Wishlist. It’s like 3AM right now where I am though so it won’t be as detailed and such as usual. But as I said, I’m a teeny bit of a perfectionist. So there’s a part of me that’s thinking I won’t be able to sleep until I do something worth while on this blog (since I love it so much~).

But before we get to the exciting stuff, I bet some of you are wondering when my little trip will end, huh? You guys can expect me back by the middle of August~! My goodness he seems so far away. By then autumn will already be closing in~ Ah I feel so bad! But summer is always filled with surprises afterall!

New Series:

Kuroshitsuji Season 2:

Summary: In the sequel to Kuroshitsuji, we’re introduced to another set of characters, including a new, strangely talented butler and another master. And although all seems fine on the surface, these two seem to hide eerily familiar secrets to Ciel and Sebastian. Reflecting on the first season’s ending, most dismiss the previous main characters as gone. But Sebastian’s known to have a few tricks up his sleeve- so when a stranger comes for a visit is it all coincidence? Or are the two pair’s fates already entwined?

Thoughts of First Episode: I was hesitant in the first part of the episode, thinking “where are my old mischievous boys?” because, to be blunt, I do not like the new characters. I don’t even remember their names, that’s how quickly I dismissed them. I won’t be so quick to fully say I hate them but… really… I don’t like copycats. They’re never as good as the originals. However, when that stranger showed up at the door I thought “hmm?” and when I saw that smile… well I just knew. And I won’t spoil it but it gets sooo much better at the end. And from the looks of it, things are about to get very interesting~ So thumbs up for this one!

Seitokai Yakuindomo:

Summary: Takatoshi is a new student in a recently gender-integrated high school, and is asked to join the student council as the vice president. Thus begins his days as the only normal boy among 3 female student council officers.

Thoughts of First Episode: Oh how the president reminds me of Misaki~ Though a little more straight-forward and not so tsundere, she’s definitely cute! The accountant too, she was just so… moe! I’m a pushover for small kiddy characters that try to act all tough and grown-up. The secretary seemed to be the one that kept the balance, due to her calm nature, and she was the prettiest one in my opinion. Totally reminds me of Orhime~ Especially with that hair.
Ahem. Well cute female characters aside, the anime itself was pretty descent. I thought it’d be another knock-off but it held its own, which impressed me with all the school-based animes floating around. It wasn’t my favorite for certain, but it was nice. The cutsie anime girls help too.

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi:

S-Scary haha. Not a very promising cover image. But you know what they say, don’t judge a book by its cover~

Summary: A love comedy parodying fairy tales, focusing on Ookami Ryoko, a spunky high school girl. She is a member of a “fixer” club so-called Otogi High School Bank. She fixes the school’s problems with her partner Akai Ringo. When a new boy steps into the picture though, how will Ryoko handle it?

Thoughts of First Episode: Just finished~! I’m impressed by this anime (more so cuz I really misjudged it from the image) so I must applaud! It’s been a while since I’ve seen a true kickass gal and her loli sidekick. After seeing the full episode, the boy isn’t scary anymore. Quite the opposite I just wanna hug him! Though it’d probably be a bad idea to stare at him… but then again it is insanely cute when he flips out too (win for win~!)

Amagami SS:

Phew. It was hard to find a real picture of this anime. But MyAnimeList always comes through for me~

Summary: A second-year high school boy finds himself uneasy during Christmas time due to an experience in the past. However, this year at Christmas, he gets his last chance to ask out a graduating female senior named Haruka Morishima — or one of several other classmates. The story of the anime will be arranged in an omnibus format, with each heroine getting her own version of the story animated.

Thoughts: It’ll be interesting to see each girl tell her own tale, I simply don’t know if it’ll take away from the show or give it the spark it needs. I suppose that lays in the animators hands. This seems like a typical school-love-story anime (like I said those are everywhere) so… meh. We’ll see. I think the large number of anime girls will benefit the show though.

Chances of Watching: Not positive yet, but most likely gonna look into it some more

Legend of the Legendary Heroes:

Summary: Raina Lute is a lazy student of Roland Empire Royal Magician’s school. One day, Roland Empire goes to war against neighboring country Estaboole, losing his classmates in the battle. After the war, Lute sets out for a journey to search the relics of a “Legendary Hero” at Emperor Zion Astar’s command. Only on his journey does he discover the  deadly curse i spreading throughout the continent.

Thoughts: This was actually… original. The lame title takes some of the impact out of it, but I am curious as to the war and curse and all that. And I’m fairly certain Lute will be the target for some cute romance~

Chances of Watching: 50/50. If it gets good reviews, I’ll give it a shot.

I could not wait to make this post!

Inuyasha is probably my second favorite anime, right behind my foremost love for Shugo Chara. There’s a plot, great characters, relationships, love, chibi love, stubborn love, love triangles, (sensing the love?) and a wonderful finale- but we’ll save that for a later post. Let’s just start from the beginning for now: the first episode.

Plot: Inuyasha, a half-demon, and Kagome, your average school girl, meet unexpectantly when Kagome is dragged into Inuyasha’s time- over 500 years ago in the fuedal era. As the incarnation of Kikyo- Inuyasha’s former love and one of the most powerful priestesses when she was alive- Kagome holds the Shikon Jewel buried deep within her along with her immense spiritual power. When the jewel is ripped from her body and shattered into thousands of pieces, Kagome and Inuyasha, along with new companions, travel on a long journey in search of the jewel before it can get into the hands of their worst enemy- Naraku.  If the Shikon Jewel were to fall into his hands, the future of the world would be at stake, and might shatter Kagome’s chance of seeing her friends and family on the other side ever again. But far worse is  the chance of losing Inuyasha’s life- and her very own.

Causing trouble again?

As you might have guessed, this lil scandral making all the fuss is none other than our main character, Inuyasha. My god I love him. Him, his ears, and his badass-ness…. the whole thing~

Though I’ll be the first to admit, I kinda thought he was a jerk when I first started the series. He didn’t make a very good first impression, but he redeemed himself pretty quickly~

Really, how could you not end up lovin him?

I actually felt really bad for him here. Even if he was portrayed as the bad guy and he was blowing up the village… and stealing the jewel… and hurting Kikyo…

Ahem. Well, I still felt bad for the guy. Having an arrow strike through your heart and having to spend the rest of eternity in that solemn forest seems a little bit to drastic. And really, just look at him, reaching out all helpless. Poor Inuyasha~

But then we move on to present times and our main gal, Kagome. (Inuyasha must feel so loved being skipped over like that~) Down-to-earth and independent, Kagome is so darn cute. ‘Cuz you know those are the girls that will make the best stubborn-love shoujo girls.

Anyways, Kagome is just your average student living on her family’s shrine that’s filled with ancient secrets and stories- none of which she believes in. Probably ‘cuz, pshh, she’s a stubborn-love shoujo girl!

But there’s already a small problem- she’s innocently ignorant, meaning something bad must happen to her (according to, well, every other anime ever created- that just seems to be the rule of things)

See? Just like I said.

Anyway, just as our stubborn girl is ready to dismiss more legends of the shrine a huge spirit thing comes out of the well and… the air grabs her? I guess? And into the well she goes~

20 bucks says I can call what’s next!

Hang on, I think my prediction is still correct, she’s just gotta kick some ass before that… it should be over soon…

Oh, right, the story. Well, Kagome obviously doesn’t like pushy people and being dragged into the well, so some mystic glow comes out of her hand (‘cuz she is, after all, the heroine) and she ends up “destroying” the monster. And though putting those air quotes might be a spoiler already, I’m gonna leave em.

So the bad guy’s gone, and she’s pretty much like “All right well that was weird, but I guess I’ll just have to jump out of this lil well here…”

…and finds Inuyasha. Meaning my oh-so-obvious prediction did come true and the two end up meeting.

And as a side-note I really want a cute Inuyasha decaration to hang on my Christmas tree now~ (just putting that out there)

To summarize, when little Kagome stumbles outta the hole, it’s not exactly what she expects. The well was open to a forest instead of a shrine, and as she makes her way to the 500-year-old oak she recognized from the temple, she notices something… a little different about it. Like… hmm Inuyasha hung to it?

But of course the first thing that runs through her mind isn’t anything a normal girl would wonder like: Is he dead???

No, there’s something else more important to figure out.

“Does he seriously have lil animal ears?”

Ah Kagome. You just made my day. Now, despite my fangirl jealousy about her being able to play with Inuyasha’s ears (such a lucky girl~), I have to say that’s what I would do if I saw him. I mean, I’d get around to like trying to talk to him or waking him up but I agree with her choice of action. So I really can’t blame her for doing so.

Way to go, angry villagers. You just killed the mood and almost killed our heroine.

Poor Kagome. I don’t know if this is payback for all jealous fangirls or if it’s just bad luck.

Yup. I’m thinking it’s just bad luck.

So, after the citizens pretty much hold Kagome hostage, the town’s priestess is convinced she’s no threat and Kagome explains her situation to her and the two become friends. But not before the centipeade demon (with a horse in her mouth?) comes to ruin it all.

And of course Kagome isn’t gonna sit and let this go.

Kagome, trying to distract the demon, (like she believed she could outrun that thing) ends up running into another demon- Inuyasha. Awake and ready to kick some ass, Inuyasha is pretty much mocking “Kikyo” (Truly Kagome, but Inuyasha’s been out of it for 50 years) and Kagome is fed up with him and his crazy world.

And so she bitches him out, making me think it wasn’t until this scene that I actually started liking Kagome.

These two just make you smile

There’s just… no explanation needed. The demon came, tried to take her, so she’s taking Inuyasha down with her. Heh, sneaky Kagome~

Well, lookie there. Kagome had the Sacred Jewel all along. Talk about an exciting day.

I also like how she barely notices she has a huge, gaping wound in her side- she’s just wordlessly gazing at the jewel. I don’t know if that’s cuz she’s so oblivious she doesn’t realize it yet or cuz she’s so dang tough. Well she is quite stubborn afterall~ Not like she would let Inuyasha see her cry or anything.

Tsk, tsk. You went back to being a damsel in distress, Kagome!

But I’ll go ahead and applaud her again. In a life or death situation, she still holds the strength to make her own descision in saving Inuyasha. And it totally pays off cuz once Inuyasha’s freed… well he’s not holding back.

Oh Inuyasha. You little half-demon. Not like you’re going to let a full demon beat ya, even when they have the jewel. Nope, just gotta act like a badass.

And say what you want, I think he was also battling to save Kagome. He may resent her for being Kikyo’s recarnation, but she was the one to save him. And she held the jewel. I think he still loved Kikyo despite what he said from the very beginning. So in turn… he was kinda falling for Kagome~

I’m gonna go with that(:

But Inuyasha is still Inuyasha and he’s in it to win it, meaning if you’re in his way, you better move or he’ll make you.

Gotta remember Kagome: people aren’t always what they seem.

I find it slightly funny how surprised she is when he turns on them. But Kagome knows how to deal with guys like that, so I’m not so worried about this cliffhanger.

You can already tell what a couple these two will make~

Ah, how these new shows warm my fangirl heart. Especially when they’re shows worth watching.

Now, I know what what you’re all thinking: Yukiko, didn’t you say the same thing the last two seasons? Why, yes I did. I like to think there is at least one anime that’s a must-see (which may just be another downside to being an optimist) but this season truly is better than the rest. Why do I say this? First of all, the variety. Most of the time there’s either a chibi season, an adventure season, a romance season, ect. But this season was a little bit of all that and more. Which is perfect especially when you start to get tired of genres easily.

My other main reason is the shows were just… good. There was substance. Not just another cutsie, normal, blah blah blah kind of anime. Which I’ve been seeming a lot of lately. But there was tsundere love when tsundere-ness was needed, amazing voice actors&actresses (god bless you Kanae Itou and Yuuichi Nakamura- if only there was another anime with you two starring again), and plots worth blogging and fangirling over. And the characters were so fitting. Everything just seemed to blend together this time.

So what shows am I talking about? Mostly what was on my wishlist:

In general, anime’s just starting to pick up lately. Summer’s coming, school is almost over, and it’s the perfect time to tie up lose ends and start getting into everything you love.

So what shows will you be watching this summer?

Yes, yes, the Spring season for anime has already begun, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t too late to make my wishlist for this time around~!

This season actually seems much better than last, and I’ve already seen a number of the starter episodes, and almost all made my expectations… minus the fanservice. But men will be men I suppose.

There’s a full-focused neko show, the continuing season to K-ON, a cute new maid show, and quite a few new adventure series. Which is a good balance.

I haven’t seen all shows yet, but if they’re on my wishlist, chances are I will be in the near future. And I am so looking forward to them~

New Series:

Angel Beats:

Summary: In the afterlife, it’s either fight to survive or be erased. The SSS, a special organized group dedicated to this war, rebel against the angels working under God. But when a boy, helplessly lost after dying appears, the SSS sees a new chance in front of them to win it all- and live to tell the tale.

Thoughts: I’ve always loved all this supernatural edge to things, but I’m a little hesitant about angels, devils, God, and heaven in general. This seems both very interesting and somewhat… played out. It’s a great plot, great animations, and great voice actors, but it seems very typical in a way. But I am hoping to see how this series turns out.

B Gata H Kei:

Summary: Yamada’s a girl who seems to have it all- looks, wealth, and popularity and her only “flaw” is her virgin status, which as clearly got to go. So when highschool comes around again, she decides to aim for 100 partners so she’ll never be known as an innocent young girl again. But when the perfect boy for her suddenly appears, she finds herself pursuing him and only him.

Thoughts: Can anyone say fanservice? Yes, this is clearly one of those shows, and although I’m completely beside myself about her, ahem, “goal”, I think it could turn out to be just a cute couple show in the end. At least I’m hoping.

Kiss X Sis:

Summary: Keita’s two new step sisters seem to be very interested in being more than just siblings. When a mishap at school makes the girls confess, Keita, uneasy about their relationship progressing further than brother and sister, isn’t sure what to say or do- that is, until he also starts feeling something towards them.

Thoughts: This is actually a very realistic situation that I could see happening. I don’t know how much I agree with it, but it’s certainly… unique to say the least. Perhaps not my first choice (or second or third) but it may be worth looking into later on.

K-ON! Season 2:

Summary: When two highschool musicians, a bassist and drummer, try desperately to reassemble the school’s music club, they stumble upon the perfect keyboardist- and a prodigy guitar player. But will their efforts be in vain, or will the four put on a performance no one will soon forget?

Thoughts: I’ll be honest: I’ve never seen the first season of K-ON! though I’ve looked into it a number of times. Music-based anime series aren’t my favorite, but this particular show seems very popular. Despite never seeing it, I have to say I’m glad they’re putting on a second season. More to look forward to in the future~

Kaicho wa Maid-Sama:

Summary: This romantic comedy centers around a serious and harsh student council president who detests the main male population at her school. However, despite her cold appearance, she works hard and fights for those she cares for, including her friends, family, and practically any other girl. But she also hides a secret and tries to keep it as such until her most handsome male classmate finds out. Her secret? She’s truly a cafe maid when she strips of her school uniform and heads to work. But he’s not so quick to tell the rest of the school her secret. Instead, he flirts and teases with her and soon the two find a common ground as friends… and perhaps something more serious.

Thoughts: LOVE IT! Honestly, no joke, this is exactly what I’m looking for. A romantic, non-fanservice comedy full of stubborn tsundere love and cute shojo boys. It’s like, the perfect mirror of Amu and Ikuto. And god is it hard repair that aching heartbreak Ikuto left behind when he left Japan and Amu. This show was practically made for me~

If you’re not dying from fangirl-ism, you should be! This is picture perfect right here.

Mayoi Neko Overrun!:

Summary: A brother and sister live on their own, despite being only highschoolers, and only expect visits from their elder sister who’s often far off on her own adventures. They run and take over their older sister’s baker when she’s away, and also take in stray cats on a regular basis. When their sister comes home after her latest journey, she carries with her a beautiful mysterious girl she discovered off the streets, much like the stray cats. However, this strange girl possesses another similar trait to the cats- her strange and all to real neko ears.

Thoughts: YES~! Ohmygod, I still think Maid-sama is going to be my favorite show this season, but this almost ties with it. Full-blown kitty adventures all season? Along with a girl with kitty ears? And the main character having the voice actress of Amu? Very fitting, wouldn’t you say?

Yes. A very good show indeed.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru:

Summary: The focus lies on an orphan boy with tremendous independence who despite this has made many mistakes in his life- mostly due to his abilities. He cannot control being able to feel the emotions of those he touches, and his life only complicates when his brother emerges into his life.

Thoughts: Huh. Interesting. I know, I know, I don’t sound as pumped or enthusiastic as I was in my last review, I’m just trying to wrap my head around it. It honestly sounds like a powerful and rapid storyline, but I’m not always the greatest adventure fan. But this seems like something I’d end up loving. A little dark, mysterious, and adventurous. Every girl’s gotta take a break from all that romance after all.

Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Waou:

Summary: Akuto’s new school life at the Magic Academy proves to be a hectic one as new twists and turns, as he’s labeled as the “Devil King” according to his aptitude test. Between the resentful student head, his android bodyguard, and a girl who forms a crush for him, he finds his original goal of becoming the greatest magician to ever live a more difficult one than he planned.

Thoughts: I think how this one plays out lies in the hands of the animators. Some points seem a little too ordinary, but it isn’t uncommon for a bad show to turn out good and a good show to be ruined. I wouldn’t say I’m exactly anticipating its release, but I think it could turn out to be better than I expect. This one’s pretty neutral for me.

Alright, so practically every anime fan has at least heard of Bleach. Actually, I’ll be completely stunned if you haven’t. Bleach is probably one of the newest, most popular anime shows and is shown almost everywhere. Anyway, this was the ending theme to Bleach for a short time, like 10 episodes, but it certainly is attention grabbing. Normally I don’t pay much of any attention to openings or endings at all so I’m surprised I found out about this from something like that.

This is probably the first song I’ve ever heard that mixed both Japanese and English into their lyrics, which made it that much more unique. I thought it was beautifully done, like most of these songs, but for once I could understand and sing to. Which was a plus for me.

I also thought it was such a cute match for Rukia. It was sad and lonely, as she constantly was, though our girl Rukia of course would never admit it. Only  until she found you-know-who and her life completely changed. So adorable~

So of course I had to post this. The song itself is amazing, and so is the artist. Just wanted to spread all that love with you guys, so hopefully you’ll get a chance to check it out.

Forgive me! I’ve seem to have just completely forgot about my Simply Devine blog through everything that’s happened. However, I’m once more trying to dedicate myself to this, and I truly do enjoy it, but as any other blogger knows, it can be hard to make time for every post you want to make.

Spring’s starting up, which means it’s time to move on and start anew, so I’m hoping this will mean I’ll also be able to make a fresh start on this blog. Right after I’m finished with this post, I’ll be updating my schedule and hopefully be able to stick with it this time around.

I don’t know if it was winter anime in particular if I just started to lose interest, but I was kind of putting my whole anime fangirling on hold during these past few weeks. It’s hard to continue a hobby like anime once you lose that excitement you originally had, but I know I’m not giving up on it. I want to be able to find a new spark so I can find that true shojou love again.

The only default in my plans is making time, which I really can’t do at the moment. I’m trying my best to start and update a post here and there so I can at least present something, but everything takes time. I’m dedicating myself to sticking with this, but sometimes I need a little push along the way. And hopefully simple fangirling will be what I need to keep moving.

So, after a long unexpected break, I suppose you could say I’m back again into the anime world. And surprisingly, I can’t wait to get started.
